Hot days = More H20 for your plant

On days when the temp is over 90 degrees make sure you pay attention to your flowers and Hydrangeas....they will need to be watered everyday and sometimes multiple times a day!!!  Birch trees, Red maples and willows also need to be watered more than usual during the HOT days of summer.

Dead Heading perrenials

TIP: don't deadhead perennials if they only flower once- cut the plant back about 1/3 down from the top after flowering then leave it alone
